The Social Welfare Department (SWD) and Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) are jointly developing a "Digitalised Elderly Services Platform" (DESP). DESP can be applied to the Pilot Scheme on Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly (CCSV). The current number of service vouchers can reach up to 8,000, and there are more than 200 Recognised Service Providers with experience in providing elderly care services in this Pilot Scheme. The purpose of this project is to strengthen the application of information technology systems and smart eforms to support Recognized Service Providers to operate CCSV work conveniently.
