HandyRehab System is a smart robotic glove system which is patented and clinically proven to assist stroke rehabilitation to up to 90% of full motor control. It is a portable assistive device which helps disabled people to complete daily tasks, such as holding on a glass of water. It provides training of 7 hand movements that is frequently used in daily life. There are also 3 levels of movements to choose from for patients with different levels of disability. There are 3 components in one set, including the robotic glove, an EMG sensor, and a tablet. HandyRehab Professional Edition provides both active and passive training. For active training, users can control the movements of the robotic glove by using the tablet. For passive training, the EMG sensor is used to interpret the patient's intention of movement. When the reading of the EMG sensor exceeds the target readings, the robotic hand will provide assistive force for the patient to complete the movement. Manufactured with lighter materials, our product is more than 50% lighter than a close competitor and cost ⅓ the price. With a portable design and being physically lighter in weight, our product is suitable for long-time and even daily usage.
