Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is a a brand new US-FDA cleared Low Load Exercise Training with clinical outcome comparable to HIT (High Intensive Training). By restriction the right amount of blood flow in limbs and perform a short period of Low Load Exercise , research showed that the clinic outcomes of achieving Hypertrophy is approaching the results obtained from HIT. According to ACSM, achieving hypertrophy would require client to exercise at around 70% of 1RM, in which virtually no patients can afford such high exercise demand. By performing BFR, only 20% of 1RM is required and so it is a new exercise direction for all our patients.
