The Smart Meal Cart is able to record the appetite of each elder in every meal and keep food in appropriate temperature. It uses RFID to identify the user and record the weight of the food which the elderly consumed in each meal. The cart also has a build-in temperature control system which can receive setting request remotely and automatically adjust the fan and heater accordingly. The captured data can be showed and analyzed in a cloud based server to enable care giver to plan for a suitable meal for each of the individual elder. The cart is actually using in an elderly center and we have further customized made for this GIES show.
