Body movement is a useful diagnostic tool in the field of healthcare analytics. LSCM has developed UWB hardware, software, and algorithms which are capable of detecting millimeter level body movement for various applications including respiration rate, presence, bed occupancy, and elderly status detection. UWB technology do not depend on additional imaging or put on any devices. This low-cost, comfortable, and privacy-preserving technology provides efficient remote monitoring services to the elderly. Some of the aforesaid technologies have won the Gold Medal at the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva.
